This site is the home of Aught Cade, a heavily modified Taito Egret 29 cabinet. It is composed, mostly, of off the shelf products including LCD, keyboard encoder, Druin's LS-30 interface, and a variety of standard arcade controls. It is capable of playing thousands of arcade games using VSyncMAME and the ArcadeOS front end. For more detailed information and some cool photos, choose a section from the menu.

 Updates
New Pictures in the control panel and cabinet sections. The control panel is back, primed and painted. It looks cool. There are a few design problems, but I'm eager to get my controls mounted and wired. A big thanks to Automated Metal Technologies of Redmond, WA for the fabrication process.
